Dropsafe Signs String of Global Distributor Deals to Tackle Drops Risk Worldwide

Dropsafe has recently signed several agreements with prominent distributors in several markets, demonstrating the appetite in a range of markets across a diverse array of industries, especially offshore energy, for robust, high quality Drops prevention solutions.

The agreements will broaden access to versatile Drops prevention solutions such as the Dropsafe Barrier, Net and Pouch. Extending Dropsafe’s distribution and service network around the world allows users of its advanced solutions to benefit from reduced delivery times and increased technical support.

Europe – MSS and Van Dam

In Europe, a distributor deal has been signed with MSS, an innovative provider of modular walkways and HSE solutions, specialising in environmentally friendly products based on the best in class technologies, increasing access to high-quality prevention in Norway’s offshore wind and O&G sectors – vital due to the high standards expected in North Sea operations.

Another European deal was signed with VanDam Maintenance and Repair, a market leader in services on fire and blast protective solutions with extensive experience in offshore maintenance. This partnership has brought greater access to Dropsafe’s innovative products to a wide range of industries throughout continental Europe, including offshore wind, power generation and marine.

Expanding presence in South East Asia with Daya Singa

In Asia, Daya Singa, a top provider of innovative safety solutions to industries such as Oil and Gas, energy, maritime and industrial sectors in Malaysia, signed a distribution deal with Dropsafe, ensuring these sectors can easily access high quality Drops prevention solutions. The need for robust and versatile Drops solutions is clear in this region, with typhoon level category 5 wind speeds, flooding, high UV and humidity, as well as seismic activity.

MENA and CIS – partnering with Stevens Supply

Dropsafe has also expanded its work in the Middle East, North Africa and Commonwealth of Independent States in order to cater for the increasing need for best practice Drops prevention solutions in the Oil & Gas (O&G) and wider energy sectors. Dropsafe has continued to supply solutions through UAE-based Stevens Supply International to influential National Oil companies, alongside regional and international contractors and service companies operating in the regional supply chain.

Mike Rice, Commercial Director of Dropsafe, said: “Dropsafe is a global company, and our experience in a variety of markets, each with unique Drops risks, mean that we are able to provide a high level of Drops prevention with our products. Drops risks may require expert assessment – but in Drops best practice, we find a number of key themes which emerge repeatedly.”

He continued: “Drops prevention must be a cornerstone of leading HSE strategies with a long-term focus. The most cost-effective solutions are the ones which are durable enough to withstand more than 5 years of use in a range of operating conditions, while also being easy to install – with minimal maintenance.”
