Upgrading Safety Standards: Transitioning to the New Generation of Dropsafe Nets

Dropsafe is committed to continuous innovation in dropped object prevention. To enhance safety and asset management, we have officially upgraded our core Net range and transitioned to a new Part Number (PN) system.

Enhanced Features for Maximum Security

The upgraded Dropsafe Nets now come standard with advanced components designed to reduce human error and streamline inspections:

  • Trisafe™ Carabiner: Each net now comes with the patented Trisafe™ Carabiner, which can be operated single-handedly, auto-locks to reduce human error and features a triple-action mechanism to prevent accidental opening. This makes Dropsafe Nets installation safer, faster, and more intuitive.

  • RFID Choke Plate: Each upgraded Net features a choke plate equipped with RFID technology for digital tracking and simplified asset management.

Understanding the Part Number (PN) Change

To reflect these significant product upgrades, we have updated our part numbering system to the 8500xxx series.

  • Format Migration: The new Nets utilize an 8500xxx format, replacing the legacy 7500xx format.

  • Consistency: For ease of transition, the last three digits for similar models remain identical (for example, PN 7500640 has been updated to 8500640).

Uncompromised Quality and Specifications

While the components and part numbers have evolved, the core structural integrity of our Nets remains the same:

  • Material: All Nets continue to be manufactured from high-quality SUS316 stainless steel.

  • Specifications: Dimensions and Safe Working Loads (SWLs) remain unchanged from previous versions.
